Item Details:

Built in 1908 by Aveling and Porter of Rochester in Kent as an R10 roller and given the works number 6573. The engine is of double crank compound design and weighs 12 tons. The engine was supplied with compensating traction gear so that she could be converted for traction duties. The engine was supplied new to Denbighshire County Council (North Wales) in 1908 originally turned out as “County of Denbigh” where she stayed for her working life. A copy of the original specification is supplied with the engine as well as associated drawings. The engine is sold with full current boiler test and a hydraulic test having been completed in 2014.
